The older she gets, the more beautiful she gets. She's aged gracefully

I’m 63 years old. I served in the military. I made friends, lost friends, got laughed at and with, got bombed at shot at and sometimes spat at. Through all of this my resolve was never shaken. Yet for some reason this song broke me and reduced me to a shuddering tearful mess and may possibly have saved my life. For all of you suffering, when you think there’s no help and no light at the end of the tunnel, there is, this song showed it to me.

I'm 34 years old and am homeless, this song brings tears to my eyes. The truth is I am living my life just waiting until the day I can leave the "vultures and thieves at my back" and be in my grandmothers arms.

I am an old fart, most of my friends are gone.
This song has help me through a lot of pain.
When I play this song on the violin, tears come to my eyes. All my friends and animals come back to me.
Brings me close to them knowing they are with the angels.

God Bless!

I remember when this irst came out. I was a long haul trucker and spent a lot of long dark nights haulin ass across nowhere to get somehwere fast. Living that life and the whine of tires and engine is its own kind of stress but I could slide this CD into the box and ...find some comfort there

I've never heard anyone with a voice like Sarah McLachlan

Sarah is the most underrated artist of the 20th century. This could be 200 years old and we would call it a traditional gospel.

This song was played at my daughter’s funeral back in 2006. It still tears me up to this day. My Michelle was a victim of a domestic homicide suicide. And the man who murdered her shot and killed himself afterwards. Some days it’s hard to get through even a second of the day but I thank God for my memories of her…Hold your loved ones so very close to you and keep your ears open for any distress that they might show you. Sadly I missed all the signs and it was too late to help her.

Had heard and appreciated this song for many years. Heard it in a restaurant 2 days after burying my son an Afghanastan vet with the 101st Airborne and bawled my head off. Still very emotional to hear.
