Thank you for sharing the NAC video that is definitely awesome topic these days. Just to ID if the device is company asset or not is most likely not that complex use case however if you like to do more checks on the connecting clients before you even present them the auth /login window if they have AV installed, if AV DB is up to date, which AV vendor they have, when was the last scan on the client device, what OS is the connecting device if supported or not, what is the patch level of the device, if it is W10 OS can you check for a specific MS patch if installed or not, same check for Mac and Linux OS, all of this needs to happen agentless once device is sanitized then you route them to the login page and landed policy executes for the connecting device.

I was wondering if any other vendors or solutions can do this kind of checks besides F5 APM, I am looking for something that can detect the OS version at least before leasing IP to the connecting device. Please share if you know or have experience with any solutions of this nature. Thank you once again.
