i am an ambivert (though not always the best at talking), and one thing that's draining is not knowing who to talk to. i don't want to be at a party hanging around the snacks table by myself. the awkwardness of it is whats draining for me. its sometimes easier if someone else comes and talks to me, especially if most are strangers or only acquaintances.
i like alone time for it's peace and reflection and doing things on my own for efficiency, but i also love hanging out with people and doing activities together and having meaningful conversations, which are very stimulating. after socializing i may come back home full of energy, and after alone time i'll feel more settled and happy with my hobbies. though i can't be alone for far too long or i will feel drained. i have to have some kind of human interaction at some point.

i completely sympathize with this though, i used to have social anxiety. it can be pretty difficult to make friends and talk to people. (personally i love it when an extravert helps me out in conversation and decides they want me as a friend. i'm not the best at doing the approaching).

Wow, I realized how opposite I am to this, I'm kind of addicted to being with people, when I'm alone in my house I get depressed cause I'm not wiyh someone to hang out with, I hate being by myself, and I enjoy making people laugh all the time, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being very extroverted, I'd say I'm a 15. That's why I hate summer break from school.
