I am 90% disabled veteran with 25 years but I would love to do it again

That’s why I went to Flight School after being a Grunt for 7 years. Retired as a CW5 with an amazing skill set for another career.

I'm a UK army vet, I don't miss the job so much, when we weren't deployed all that would happen is getting fucked about, blokes were leaving because of the change, we lost a battalion and ended up being amalgamated from other units that were not trained the same, so standards were dropped, and the Light Division was deleted, we became just ordinary joes, it went to shit real fast, after they got rid of all the experienced senior NCO's due to cuts, things changed, slowly at 1st before it went politically correct... gone was the focus on relaxed efficiency but a focus on excellence in the field, to spit and polish and razor sharp creases, we were not trained to be tick tock soldier but ones that could think for themselves and go and do what others couldn't, this was the focus of the Light Division, to it wasn't the army anymore it changed in the wrong direction, but I miss the guys and the 'crack' we used to have, nothing else comes close in civvy street,

What do you expect? There are very slim people out there.Like me that would sacrifice everything to be a Warrior from my country.
I would have done 20 years for the military easy.I would have done forty
