Thank you guys so much for shedding light on the colossal miss in value that the Hollywood trade was! As a Cards fan this trade made me wanna put my head thru a wall. If our GM hadn't used a second round pick in each of the last 2 drafts to select a 5'8" "fast/shifty" guy then I wouldn't be so upset. But A. what a waste of draft resources & B. Of all the WR rumored as "available" this is the best deal you can come up with!?

It sounds like Quay was high on the board for many NFL teams so to the league, Lloyd and Dean weren’t necessarily rated higher. Gute explained in his press conference that having a 2nd linebacker that can hold his own in both coverage and the run is important for the defense.

When the ravens drafted Lamar, that was "not what they do." The coaches jobs are to make plays that work for the players. If that means changing their philosophy, then they do it.

Hey, if Dotson was higher on their board than Williams or Olave, trading back and getting the same player would be a huge win. (Imagine what you would be saying had they drafted Dotson at 11...)

I like Quay for GB. At that spot though not so much. But my thinking is this. Quay is a coverage and sideline to sideline linebacker. They needed that last year in the playoffs especially. I think theyre setting up the team for when Rodgers is gone. Lets get the defense ready and worry about the offense then when the D is firing at all cylinders and just plug n play the offense with Love or whoever

The Bengals aren’t going to give Bates crazy money, and with the agent he has I bet that’s what he’s asking for! Plus the Bengals are going to have to pay Burrow, Higgins, Chase, Wilson, and keep the OL room stocked up. Hill can be Bates and he’ll be a heck of a lot cheaper over the next 4 yrs.
