The OnePlus 8 just came out, so let's see how it compares against the OnePlus 7T!

Bought the 7T a few days ago and I'm happy.

This is my first OnePlus phone and now I get how fluid it actually is. It is a great phone overall.

I think it'll be wiser to get the 7T instead of the 8 if you're choosing between those two, but if you really want one of the OnePlus 8 phones, it'll be much better to choose the 8 Pro instead.

Curved bezels are BY FAR the worst trend to have taken over the smartphone industry. They increase exposure angle, making them more broke to damage. They distort the image. They gather irritating reflections from a broader angle. They slip more readily from the hand, also making them more prone to damage. They're also horribly obstructive when browsing or gaming.

I really want that OnePlus 8 but those curved edges tho.... They're really making me think twice about it.

I had a 7T since it came out but the screen cracked and I had a free upgrade so I went to the 8. Honestly IMO it's a wash between the two. The 8 is slightly and I do mean slightly faster and it has a bigger battery but weighs a little less so those are the pluses. OTOH, I'm not a fan of the curved edge screen and I much prefer the teardrop to the hole punch.
