I’m not even getting the option to make a route, which annoys me. I frequent a large local park with walking trails. Someone has made one, but it is an 84 minute route. I wanted to make something more reasonable.

It should work kinda like how you rock climb a wall of rock with that one part in crevices that the rope feeds through while you move up the wall. The game should be able to anchor your route every couple seconds remembering how you moved instead questioning how you moved.

niantic’s way of rolling this out is a huge problem. We have four whole days to finally get all the stuff for this legendary… But they’ve already taken away a whole day for most users,
Another problem is that if users cannot create routes for people in their small town, there will be no routes to follow. So unless they hurry it up and roll it out there will be a large handful of people who will completely miss out on this legendary.

I really do wish Niantic could get better on showing how/where their stuff ingame is. All I can see is the list of available routes, where is this route maker? Tbh if you release a new feature, please make it easy to find it/operate it.

It looks like it's using the same data for the egg hatching. And matching the trail to the distance it's recording vs the players actual position

That early 40 grind was real. People underestimated the value of pidgeys and rattata hardcore. For a while was top 25 in the world (At least, of the FB groups that tracked and submitted) for little rats because of all the catch/evolves I did bahahaha

In my opinion Niantic and by extension Nintendo continue waterboarding many members of the disabled community with ROUTES. First, we nerfed the Remote Raid Passes, then we introduced Shadow Raids that we hope is beyond you reach, and now guess what? HERE IS SOMETHING ELSE YOU CAN'T DO.

If they have problem with gps drift or whatevery they should do so you can draw the route.

Who is able to create routes? I’m level 50 and played from the start and don’t have create route as an option. Your video also explained why the route in my area is awful. When I try to follow the route I have the same issue being pushed off path and pausing the route. There are definitely things that need to be worked out.

So far the only nice thing about routes is it boosts daily incense spawns by practically double. The cells are so rare its gonna take a year to get 100% forme

Reality: Frequent crash, spoofer heaven, people just drive the route back and forth. Meanwhile cant even have a pokestop unless I go a mile and cross the main street out of the only 4 main busy street in my place. Nice.

It’s a cool feature if it were working. I tried making a route it was going okay. Then right at the end i jutted out way off the path into a fenced off area. Like gps drift/ the system trying to fix it deemed that was the way i went
