I went to a timeshare presentation in Miami many years ago. My boss at the time talked glowingly of timeshares so I did not know they were complete garbage. Unfortunately for the timeshare company, I understood basic math. "So, you are saying I can pay $10, 000 for the opportunity to pay in maintenance fees and usage fees about the same as what it would cost to just book a hotel room for the same number of days?" Hard pass.

My aunt was diagnosed with cancer and my uncle signed the time share over to her 100% and someone joked maybe we all should. So 3 other relatives did that. When she passed the deeds went back to the time share. Seems to be the only loophole to get rid of them.

Wow! I’m so used to the in-person questions being shallow…but Danielle’s question in the second hour was such an important thing to talk about. I loved that discussion!

Need to setup a way to donate to exit team to help fight these scumbags. I sat through presentation and got out only because my credit was horrible and I had nothing. I was in Mexico. And after getting out with my promised vouchers for excursions I signed up for 2 more presentations and got a spa day package for my wife and a 1 day jet ski/snorkeling tour. The one time I was glad to be poor and to them “worthless”. The last 2 presentations only lasted 60 min because I knew to tell them early that we had already been denied elsewhere. It was fun to waste their time, eat their food, and drink their tequila.

I am a friend of Allison’s and I supported her throughout her Ramsey journey. I am telling you, she struggled. I have been a Ramsey fan for many many years and have worked the program. Allison truly is a super hero. You, Dave Ramsey, are correct! Btw, she lives in northeastern Arizona, not Phoenix.

If you really want to go to war with these jerks then do so. Throw all your money at them and ask for help to put them out of business. These criminals do not deserve to live.

I sat through 2 and almost laughed when they offered to lend me 30k at 18%. I asked sarcastically, you'd do that for me? 😆

Diamond resorts require a person to not say anything bad about them in order to exit.

My timeshare was with west gate. I was smart enough to cancel before the 10 days. They literally held us in the room until we sign, we kept saying not interested and the kept lowering the amount. This was a total nightmare.

I laughed as my boss bragged up here time share so she can travel 3-5 x a year. I get same or better resorts no debt no fees no stress getting vacations only when we travel! Timeshsres you gotta pay even when not traveling and hard get out . They say you can will to kids I say will them wealth being debt free

Mandatory 10% tithe is not Scriptural, that’s a Baptist tradition. You’ll find literally 0 saying that the NC church is mandated to give 10% tithe
