It's a double edged sword giants like Nike keep the "little guy" down but at the same time they keep the industry moving and successful. I support local all the way, but a lot of people are blind to what companies like Nike are doing for the sport as a whole.

Nike probably fits perfect for him, it's all about paying the bills no matter how hipster and whimsical you try and be at the end of the day it's the almighty dollar that wins. Whatever company that shells out enough for these guys to make a living is a company I stand behind, without giants like Nike there wouldn't be 1/10th the skaters there are now, in a dying industry they keep us afloat. Anyways that's just my 2 cents.
