Sweltering summer heat wave hits the Eastern U.S.

A heat wave is sweeping across the U.S., as some 75 million Americans are under heat advisories. Many heat records as expected to fall as temperatures approach triple digits. CBS News meteorologist and climate specialist Jeff Berardelli discusses what people can expect in the coming days.

The new hot temperature in Burlington, VT was 100°Ft and they called it global warming. The previous hottest day on record was July 18 1953 when the temperature hit 99.3°F.and they called it Summer.
