I am a refugee from Bosnia as a ten-year-old girl. I escaped to Serbia, which was bombed by NATO in 1999.
I have a question for all USD citizens. What did you do to stop the killing being done in your name?

Я бы посмотрела на реакцию США если бы Россия поставила хотябы одну свою военную базу возле границ США.
И Я уверенна на 300%, что реакция и действия США в этом случае была бы одобрена, и считалась бы правильной

Robbie you missed the point
Russia don’t want America close to their border
If Ukraine would be neutral we won’t have a war
And America don’t want Russia at or door step

the difference, Robby, is that America has 800 bases worldwide. How many do Russia and China have outside its own borders?

I can understand Brie's last words, but US is much more powerdriven, emperialist, than China and Russia combined.

I watched the Jeffrey Sachs interview - it is way more interesting and in depth than this show.

The complexity of the war in Ukraine is that the war in Ukraine is actually a civil war that began in 2014. But no one in the West knows about this, and no one talks about it. Ukraine attacked itself, or rather Kiev attacked the Donbas. It's like if Berlin would attack Hamburg, or Tel Aviv attacking Jerusalem, or Washington would attack Florida because Florida opposes Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

There is no "them and us". There is "we and we". For many, this is difficult to understand. It is impossible to blame Russia for this war. For the Russians, this is a huge tragedy because Ukrainians are Russians, it's the same blood, the same family. But for the Americans, this is just another proxy war… Ukrainians are Russians, it is the same nation divided by the border for political purposes in 1917, like the GDR and the FRG during the Cold War, when parents and children were separated by the border. Ukraine is Russia. Russia was born in the 9th century AD in Kiev. Despite this, the Russians are denied the status of the indigenous people of Ukraine and the Russian language is denied to be the state language. And this is institutionalized Russophobia.

Robby should have watched the whole interview, he has still not researched the cycle of violence. And he still omits the most crucial aspects of the history of this conflict. Ridiculous.

Be interested to see what examples Robbie has of China intervening militarily in other countries in the last, say, 40 years

State Department needs a memo, this is not 1991 fall of USSR. How many bad decisions before they say hey, maybe we are no longer the good guys and we should just try to act like there are people at the other end..

The word is coward.

The conscription discussion is very strange. The facts are that:
“In the United States, military conscription, commonly known as the draft, has been employed by the U.S. federal government in six conflicts: the American Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.”
