Soy & Garlic Korean Fried Chicken Recipe!

Korean Fried Chicken - who doesn't love it? Here's another fantastic recipe for all you fried chicken lovers out there!

Ingredients
100g chicken Wings/Drums
3 tbsp rice Wine
1 tsp ginger grated
2 tsp garlic grated
1 Tbsp soy sauce
160g potato or corn starch
salt and pepper to taste
Neutral oil for frying

Soy Garlic Sauce
2 tbsp butter
4 tbsp soy sauce
4-5 garlic cloves minced
1 thumb-size piece of ginger
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp red pepper or chilli flakes
1 Tbsp tabasco sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1-2 red/green peppers sliced
toasted sesame seeds and spring onion for garnish

Thicker sauce, served separate for dipping, and I think this is an absolute winner. That sauce sounds incredible. Maybe needs a little pinch of yumyum.

Alright, so I'm almost finished making the sauce using this recipe. I bought a mortar and pestle, but as much as I could mash the ginger most of it stayed together. I'm thinking that a food processor would be better for ginger? Edit: I just took that big piece of strands out. But wow, what a great tasting sauce! Perhaps the best sauce I've ever made myself.

Nice! Definitely going to try this. Quick question, though: Can I make this by shallow frying the chicken? I know it won't be as amazing, but I never know what to do with the flipton of leftover oil afterwards.

Looks fire. However, If you're making this, do not fill your wok with as much oil as he did. Very prone to overflowing
