At 1.50 you say the Z2 is both wider and longer than the Z1 - This isn't true. The Z2 is longer, but the Z1 is both wider and thicker.

So, how about Samsung Galaxy S5? It has smaller screen & bigger bezel than ever before, tiny speaker, smaller battery life, smaller RAM, nano size 16Megapixel sensor and unfortunate golf plastic cover, now the unlocked version of S5 is at the same price with Z2 :)

Pure nonsense! The phone is big but considering it's packing a bigger display, larger battery, more ram, larger camera sensor, stereo speakers, and being water and dust proof, I'd say it's understandable that it's bigger than its rivals. But putting the g2 to one side, it's not much bigger than the s5 and only slightly bigger than the m8. What's htc's excuse for the m8. At least the s5 is waterproof.
The z2 rocks! Period! This is just Engadget deliberate trying to find fault in what is really an outstanding effort from Sony. Got mine on Thursday and loving it immensely. Nothing else can stand up to it.

For me the size isn't a deal breaker or a compromise! I enjoy it, I've hold the Z1 before and I like both the size and the shape. So for me it just further helps seal the deal. It's not that I don't enjoy holding the other phones or that I need it to be bigger, I just enjoy the bigger size :D

It's the same height as the HTC one M8. How can stereo speakers be described as tinny? This is a review from a journalist who has zero passion for mobile technology. Engadget won't careless, because we're all commenting on his inept opinions of a fantastic smart phone from Sony this time around.

Z2 is not wider then the z1, go and measure the 2 phone, and you can't even compare the size difference to the htc one m8 coz the htc one m8 is way bigger then it needs to be as well, the HTC m8 has a 5inch screen so does the old xperia z and its way longer then the z coz if the speakers, so the z2 should have the same level of understanding for its length coz of the speakers.

Look mate, you and i both know the size comparison between this phone and the htc one m8 is some serious bullshit. The htc has a reason to be long because of boomsound? i must admit these speakers are very good but what about the black bar beneath the screen with the htc logo on it that had an excuse on the htc one m7 because of the capacitive buttons but now has no use at all?

For the record, from what I've been seeing, the Z2's camera isn't actually 'that' great. Even though it has the biggest megapixel count on an Android phone, some pictures come out unexpectedly grainy and noisy. I personally think the S5 has the best camera you can get on an Android phone in the market so far.
