I love the all-new Multistrada V4. I can only imagine how smooth that V4 makes this large adventure bike! If you like what you see, make sure to hit that *_like and subscribe_* button. Thanks y'all.

I love my R1200GS but the V4S may be my next bike.

I think it is great. Demo valves are for the past, no reason to keep them now. I really like the large adventure bikes, but I look at them like more upright cruisers. I like they are so comfortable, still a lot of usable performance, and better view of the road. I would trade peak horsepower for mid range power any day of the week.

Let's see what the prices are before jumping to any conclusion aside that is a beautiful bike. Love the low weight, compact design and agreeable companion seat. The electronics are somewhat irrelevant for me and I'm glad to see a basic model without all that paraphernalia. Regarding the change to springs in the valve system, many people would fill pages on what is an irrelevant change. They could have done it without telling anyone and 50, 000 kms later someone may have found out. Yes, it's totally irrelevant. The whole desmo thing was an archaic system relevant when the valves were heavier and the engine needed to rev sky high. Perhaps part of the "soul" of the brans, and as such marketing, but nothing else on a modern 4 cylinder bike.
Frankly, I'm much more interested on how serviceable the bike is on the road. After all it is presented as a world traveller. Can you change the oil, clean the air filter, inspect the gas pump, etc, etc, without having Fabio the Mechanic by your side? To my regret, very few reviews ever mention those items, assuming (ass you, ass me) that there is a Ducati center around the corner.
By the way 170 hp is more than anyone needs ON THE STREET, including Mark Marquez. Why do you think they need so much electronic to tame the beast? But, most people just love to say mine is bigger than yours, so the Brands oblige and cash in handsomely.

Not sporty enough for me. They are combining their models ( enduro and 1260S ) into one. I just traded my 1260S in for a BMW S1000XR. No regrets lol. Hopefully this V4 they will offer a sport edition with a better paint scheme and SSS.

If it's anything like my 2015 1200S, it's a POS: lousy suspension (wants to do tank slappies all the time) dangerous throttle maps (any old lady in a Prius can out drag you at the lights) unintended acceleration in first and second gear (usually there is no power in these gears, then suddenly it's full blast for no reason) most parts are made out of cocoa tin; I did an oil change at 5, 000 miles - there was a pile of metal on the magnetic drain plug - the longest piece 3/16 inch.

Wait! What? No desmodromic valving? ... Isn't this like Ferrari producing a Volvo?

I can’t believe Ducati put on the same swing arm as my 2008 Kawasaki KLX650.
That’s like my hot wife wearing a little black dress with Crocs.
