Перспективный авиационный комплекс фронтовой авиации (ПАК ФА, Т-50, И-21) — российский многоцелевой истребитель пятого поколения, разрабатываемый подразделением Объединённой авиастроительной корпорации — ОКБ Сухого, где он проходит под обозначением Т-50.
Первый полёт самолёт совершил 29 января 2010 года. Серийные машины данного типа будут собираться на КнААПО, где на данный момент происходит сборка опытных образцов. Серийное производство самолёта должно начаться в 2015 году. В 2013 году должно начаться мелкосерийное производство самолётов этого типа для испытания вооружений.

The comparative stats are neat but the fact of the matter is that the U.S. has had the f-22 since 2005 and they barely have the PAK-FA to rival it now which means the U.S. is working on something far more advanced.

Вообще то эта информация засекречена, и только судя по видео можно увидеть реальную длину разбега около 500-900м, а у Т-50 длина разбега 350м, но на сторонних ресурсах пишут, что длина разбега F22 1000м

Разбега нет только у F-35B, самой тяжёлой его версии с самой маленькой дальностью полёта без дозаправки - всего около 850 км. Он не имеет бесфорсажного сверхзвука, к тому же его схема компановки для вертикального взлёта скопирована с советского ЯК-141, являющейся на данный момент самой продвинутой, но всё же не стабильной и не безопасной. Как можно кирпич сравнивать с ПАК ФА?

with the amount of problems that Sukhoi has had getting it airborne, 2016 is 3 years. the 3rd and 4th test planes was the first fully functional and they didnt fly till 2012, RUiAF exepects to have 10-14, 2016 is very wishfully thinking

The F-4 utterly outclasses the MIG-21 even to this day, The MiG-21 sucess over the F-4 was the lack of training on the US side. Sure russian planes are so good that they have been shot down more than aicraft in the world.

They are definitely better allies with china and russia than US. Russia and china have alot of people and military supplies but It doesnt outnumber the amount of military might the US AND NATO and other supporting countries have. Plus the US and NATO have variety.
