I don't know if you did a follow up on this video. But a couple of things I would of liked to had seen happen; Firstly, if you had install Sodium to improve performance. Sodium can make a massive difference and get Minecraft running smoothly on the lowest spec hardware. Secondly, I really wanted to see you use this on a server, and have a second account join the same server and you control that player from within the game you're both in.

If you ever come back to this, I highly recommend running the VMs installation of Minecraft with Optifine (or Optifabric, if you prefer!) I use it on my old laptop with nearly identical specifications to that vm and it runs the latest versions smooth as butter.

Since Java uses Virtual Machines to work, he is actually playing Minecraft, inside a Java Virtual Machine, inside a Windows Virtual Machine, inside Minecraft, inside a Java Virtual Machine, inside his computer :D

Minecraft is really one of a kind game. Still more popular than ever 11 years after release and the community never fails to impress me.

You missed a golden opportunity to join the same server that your main account is in with an alt and see yourself playing the Minecraft within the Minecraft.

Imagine if Michael installed the VM machine mod within the Minecraft VM and just create an Omega Inception of Minecraft

The reason why it is so slow, is that you are using a software renderer (Mesa LLVMpipe) for OpenGL, so the graphics are all getting processed on the CPU. You need to somehow forward OpenGL or the GPU itself from your host computer to your VM to get a much better experience (with PCIe passthrough or some kind of pipe to "tunnel" the graphics from the VM to the host).

If the mod allows you to host a multiplayer world, you must host a world then through the VM, join it and see yourself controlling the VM.

Yo no jokes, a couple weeks ago when we learned about VBox, I thought "What if there is a mod that allows to run a VM from VBox inside minecraft, that way you can really use a real computer inside minecraft, and now this comes into my recommended. Nice!
