Aftermarket isn’t always better. In the case of the lines, I agree but I’ve seen plenty of engine failures from using aftermarket parts and hardware. I remember someone using dress bolts on their adjustable cam gear and the bolt/washer failing which sheared the drive pin on the cam sprocket. Such a bummer for that guy. The biggest improvements I’ve seen on this platform always came from converting these to a rear sump oil pumps setup. Consistent high RPM thrashing makes for foamy oil which kills these fairly quickly. Anyway, loving the videos and keep after it. I wish you were in the US so I could sell you an engine or two that I have collecting dust. Shipping would probably be a nightmare.
