Sydney to Darwin - Days 3 and 4 Rockhampton to Winton, QLD

Day 3 and 4 of my Tesla Model 3 adventure on route to Darwin.
Starting off in Rockhampton, doing a mid-day charge in Emerald, and staying the night at Barcaldine. Next day on to Longreach and then Winton.

Emerald charging:
Emerald, and a lot of these towns are going to get DC fast charger's in the next 12 months or so as part of a Queensland government expansion of the QESH (Queensland electric super charger highway), so where to charge in Emerald will be a moot point soon, but my hint would be.... ask the Emerald tourist office.

Very adventurous to cruise thru “no supercharger-land”. Keep up the good work promoting EVs and they’ll fill those routes in with dc chargers in no time. Were you anxious about your overnight hotel stops? In my experience in the US there are a fair number of times the hotel’s charger wasn’t working, or it was occupied for the night. I would be nervous if I had no supercharger option within range as a backup.
