I think the American people would have been more understanding if Joe had just pardoned him for the 2 tax/gun charges and any drug charges now that he’s clean. But the key issue is the blanket pardon back to 2014! It’s outrageous that all those possible crimes going back to 2014 for Burisma/China/pay to play stuff is glaringly outrageous.

As an attorney, while the pardon is hypocritical & disappointing to Dems, we saw it coming. What’s shocking is that it’s a blanket pardon back to 2014. Limiting it to tax evasion & the weapons charge would’ve been received much differently. If Hunter had CSAM on his laptop or was truly funneling money from Ukraine, this should be beyond a presidential pardon
