came across this old video, HUGE improvement in your videos and on-screen presence! Goes to show you that success in youtube doesn't just happen, you keep grinding and working at it until you get better.

I'd also add in some kind of casual/everyday shoe...either a driver/boat shoe, etc.

Just a hint from an old audio tech...the lav goes on the k
Necktie like a tie clasp (clip it to the back part if the mount will allow and tuck the front part of the tie into the clasp.) it will pick up fine at about 12-14" down and will hide the wire.

Really like this channel. It's great to see a young man take pride in how he presents himself.

Here in my hometown, a pair of cargo shorts (un-ironed), a pink Polo, worn-out ball cap and flip-flops are the uniform of choice for a date. It doesn't take a $5, 000 suit to show that you are making an effort. Listen to the advice provided here - he knows what he's talking about.

Really love this channel because the style tips are so advanced. I've always been decently well dressed and never learnt anything from from those articles and videos designed for the sartorially clueless guy.

Not bad advice; especially right about the elongated penny loafer. I'd recommend: (1) Cognac (good for Spring/Summer), brown, or chestnut penny loafer. Even better: a second pair in black. (2) Burgundy laceups. (3) Rust, brown or navy suede laceups... maybe with a crepe sole. Suede is practical; takes a lot of abuse. Looks rich, but doesn't show scuffs. (4) Black plain Whole-cut. Unlike a captoe, a smooth, well-maintained whole-cut can dress up for a State Dept. dinner, or dress down with Levi's.

Every where I look, the oxblood cole haan cap toe is sold out, and it is my favorite one you have.  Please let me know what substitute I can buy.  Thanks!

One more shoe to add I think is a classic trainer such as the all white Jack Purcell's or my personal favorite a black patent toe sneaker like the one Lanvin makes.

Congrats for the review mate, but just to point out a tiny detail, the name of these shoes you´re showing are or Derbies or Bluchers (2nd case) and Oxfords in 3rd and 4th cases ) So cleared that, Great job buddy keep it up!

Just watching back these old videos. I actually like your more naturalistic style in these videos as I feel like you were more focused on trying to convey your message about teaching men about fashion but without the focus on trying to be a certain way in order to push towards the sales pitch and promo link. I get that you have a business(es) to run but I think you should consider trying to rediscover what made you get into making videos in the first place as now your content is more like a gateway to drive people towards your various brands/websites. Just giving this feedback with kindness and respect and have been and continue to be a subscriber and viewer for a decade. Best wishes.

Could you do a video about boots? I never know how to properly wear them. Should they be worn with slacks, or with jeans only? Also, we hat type of boots would you suggest wearing?

Personally I always said a man needs 5 pair of shoes: One of each:
1. Athletic shoes appropriate for your foot type and fitness activity ( don't use sneakers for running - get a real running shoe)
 2. shoes for daily use ( if you can wear sneakers to work or school, get a pair of sneakers ONLY for that. Keep it       separate from fitness use)
  3. Dress shoes to wear with a suit,
  4. boots for cold or rainy weather and
  5. shoes for lounging around the house.

I don't think you need the black lace-up oxfords if you already have good black loafers and some nice black wingtips. Tight video, you should do one on casuals like driving shoes and suede loafers.

Good stuff but u cant go wrong with a sleek leather zip-up or slip-on dress boot? You cant get anymore versatile than that.. btw your offset colors with your suits n ties in these videos....spot on sir, spot on!
