How on earth did Dana Carvey manage to take such a bland politician as Bush Senior and make such a vibrant, goofy caricature? I mean, for all the praise that Alec Baldwin got for his Trump impression or that Phil Hartman got for his Reagan or Clinton, those guys are pretty easy to impersonate because they're so distinct. GHWB is about as interesting as a block of wood, but it's such a funny impression.

That moment where the other guy reaches out to hold him in place made me burst out laughing.

The great Phil Hartman had no lines and the same gruff expression throughout and as always is comedy gold.

still relevant today. wish everyone would either remain sitting or standing the entire time. the whole standing ovation thing every 2 minutes with only the Democrats standing for a Democrat POTUS and only Republicans standing for a Republican POTUS is really obnoxious.

It's so sad that Michael J. Fox, one of our most expressive characters was afflicted with Parkinson's disease. A disease that steals your best expressions and moves.

Was there a close up of Dick Cheney right after he said "tyranny"?

I love how Michael J. Fox portrays Dan Quayle. He gives an image of being authoritative, yet he really hasn't a clue.
