The Doors 'Indian Summer'

The Doors wrote and recorded a demo version of "Indian Summer" in 1965. The song was re-recorded in August 1966 during the sessions for The Doors' first album. Eventually "Indian Summer" was released on the 1970 album, Morrison Hotel.

This video presentation is the best I seen with Jim and Pam, and the music could not have been a better pick. Soft, beautiful, almost melancoly . Haunting to me because we know the history. What especially got me was the very last frame of them both resting together, eyes shut and quietly at peace. This is truly a moment to be immoralized on a canvas with oils and someday I will have it.
