Traxxas unlimited desert racer Broke 5 min in.

Quick video of the Traxxas UDR . I like to run my rigs first before filming and I am sad to say it will be a while before I can put the UDR through its paces as the lower a arm broke. Might try some gorilla tape to temporarily fix it and if holds I will post some running video .

I don't believe you just hit some irrigation tubing goin 20-25 mph! The front skid plate looks like you've been landing 5' plus jumps with all the dirt wedged in it! And it didn't break, YOU BROKE IT!

This is hilarious. These trucks in real life are purposely built to be ran on tracks and have nothing to protect the car from crashes besides bumpers and roll cages. They aren't built to be crashed and when they do crash, they are out for a race. To crash something weighing 13 pounds with a huge brushless motor will obviously break when all of that force is focusing onto a single tire.

My 2075x lasted 10 mins on my UDR, I ended up installing a savox 1211sg with a Castle 2.0 BEC ...only issue so far with UDR...love the truck!

Same thing with mine the servo went out on the ERevo and the shock caps blew off. But over all a good truck.

to jury rig it use heavy wire like coat hanger wire to nclose the ball socket n to stitch the brake at the back of the control arm

That truck doesn't take much to break. Surprise you didn't break a trailing arm in the rear too. Just wait until you break one of those. LOSI FTW!!

Bad luck for you. I have the same desert racer and I beat the shit out of it, jump it, I've rolled this thing a thousand times, and rammed it into multiple curbs. No issues. I thought it was extremely study for how heavy it was. This is also my only RC vehicle.

get the RC4WD aluminum front lower suspension arm, they look awesome and tough which is the same design of the traxxas.

I have no clue how that happened lol. I beat the crap out of mine, jumping it like crazy and I’m super shocked on how durable this whole truck is. I’ve had a slash and that thing broke on me all the time. I have had the udr for a couple of months and haven’t broke anything 10/10.

awww man, sorry to hear about your arm. call traxxas. my UDR has 13 4s packs thru it, and i have a broken upper a-arm, its cracked, but i am still driving the truck as-is. jumping it, flipping it, bashing it, and its still good.... I would call traxxas on Monday and talk to them. they will take care of you. sucks.

I'm pretty sure i broke my a-arm cartwheeling down the mountain.

This gives me a great idea to prevent this from happening to mine, Sorry to see this happen but from every bad thing that happens a good thing can come out of it ;-) Heading to next video to see if tapes holds up :-)

Driver error, not Traxxas’ fault. This truck is not a “Basher”, it’s a trophy truck, meant to go fast through rough terrain, not for huge jumps and race tracks

It didn't break, you broke it, I've seen vids on it taking a beating and still runs but your driving man, but like any RC you'll break em no thought about it
