President Eyring gave an incredible talk in Oct 2020 Conference titled “sisters in Zion”. He spoke in detail about how Enoch’s city will join the city of Zion. He said the sisters he was speaking to would prepare that society and they would be the ones to dwell with Christ. One of my favorite talks of all time.

I keep hearing that for a thousand years, Jesus will rule while Satan is bound. But what happens after that thousand years? Does Satan then get loose and all the evil return?

Really good. First comments I have heard on verses 8 and 12. Thank you. But then you skipped verse 21! So many questions. Yes, they are uncomfortable questions, but we should talk about them because our enemies are talking about them. First thing is that these are the descendants of Cain which is completely different than the people of Cannan. Would God curse a whole lineage because of the sin of one person. Why? How? Would sure love some light on this.

I believe the scriptures teach that we can "become" the sons (and daughters) of God, I don't think the scriptures teach that we gain this status just because we came here. From the scriptures we know that we become the sons and daughters of God through the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost (Mosiah 5:7) - we don't just have this status because we are here. At least that is what the scriptures seem to teach.
