You can get immersion breakingly good at lockpicking in Oblivion opening Master locks with starting skill
Though it does beat out the lock rolling from Skyrim

You don’t even have to have high lock picking skill to unlock any level lock pick skill it’s actually easy if you know what you’re doing especially with this Lock Picking Mechanic. The lockpicking skill becomes obsolete so don’t have it as a main skill
