Ive learned alot from my business partner. They can sue all they want and win. What no one tells you is they cannot garnish or anything else as long as you have not made a payment to the agency. It doesnt show up on credit report.

Thanks for posting these videos. You are one of my favorites, I have been following for the 2 years I have been self-represented in a very complex case. I was wondering what you suggest is better, appeal or motion to vacate? I filed Motion for Reconsideration, I was not familiar with Motion to Vacate until today. I realize now, the judge sucks to put it mildly, I should have filed under "Vacate" vs "Reconsideration". I'm not sure if it's better to continue with Appeal (I filed Notice of Appeal a few days ago), or pause it and give a Motion to Vacate a try?

I know that you practice in AZ and aren't familiar with other states. I thought you might like to know that in Pennsylvania, debt collection suits are first filed in what is called Magisterial District Court if the amount sought is $12000 or less. If you lose that case, you can appeal for a trial de novo in the PA Court of Common Pleas. Quite an interesting process, I think.

Also, many jurisdictions in PA have compulsory arbitration when a suit is filed in the Court of Common Pleas, and the amount sought is below the threshold for that jurisdiction.

Thank you for creating and posting your videos.

What happens when they get a judgment against you? Can they take your house? Car? Anything? My bank got a judgment against me for a credit card and I dont know what to do, I dont have the money right now. What should I do? Thank you very much.

I live in KS. My husband has not worked for two years due to illness. He had no insurance because he lost his job due to illness. 2 yrs later, debt collector for hospital takes husband to court, before court date husband went to hospital, filed for charity due to circumstance under poverty. Hegot hospital charges dropped. Took that paper from hospital to court, judge wouldnt look at them. Told my husband he was sent a pretrial questionaire he didnt fill out. Ruled against husband. So if he appeals, they still will not look at papers. He owes hospital nothing but still has to give it to debt collection lawyer?

I lost to Midland Credit in arbitration. I have until Monday to appeal. I am too broke to do so.

The arbitrator sounded like a very old man.
He really didn't let me speak and kept cutting me off mud sentence. I didn't let me defend myself!

I studied probably 100 YouTube video's, lol.
Had a stack of notes and what I believe a strong case. Solid rock...In my opinion.

What bothered me most, was how this arbitrator handled this. You could definitely hear the bias through his voice.

My case was held over the phone. I was verbally told twice and once in writing through the mail, this would be over Zoom. Nope.

The 15th. This Monday is the last day to appeal. I thought I had 30 day's, but actually it's 20. Apparently it doesn't matter anyway.

Ohhhh....the fees they added! More than double the amount of the debt! 🤬 if i had any money to file the appeal, I would.

Looking for work while preparing for my 3rd surgery since Oct.
