NF has directly said in interviews that Em is a direct inspiration of his and he used to rap to his sound tracks on CDs as a kid. He said he isn't a rap God trying to battle people. Which means he's not trying to pick any fights. He was paying homage to Em by referring to him in his song, this was obviously not a diss. He then goes on to talk about how he's just trying to rap about real things and help out wounded kids (or someone's wounded inner child). If you think this is a diss then you just didn't rlly listen to the lyrics at all.
