The trouble I found with these bulbs are they don't remember their last state. So if the power goes off and the bulb was turned off with voice control, it turns back on when the power comes. I hope they have addressed this issue in the newer models. I still have the first bulbs they issued.

It's doesn't maintain previous status of power goes on and comes back. It just goes on. All the time. What can I do. It's irritating to see it glowing all the time and my mom makes fun our of me. Plz help.

Please help me here . I got it connected to my WiFi and it worked, now I want to change it to another WiFi connection and this bulb just won't get recognised on the other WiFi network, it only gets recognised on the older WiFi network .
I tried deleting the device, starting the whole thing from scratch, nothing worked, please help.

Does the wifi need internet too, or will it work even without an internet connection? Like the wifi router will be on, but there won't be active internet connection.
