I love that they're so light and everything just feels right. There analog sicks always got in the way for me for most ps1 games

I have the 8BitDo PS1 kit in a white SCPH-1080, but it doesn't fit in this particular model.

You'll have to file off sections from the PCB to make room for the screw posts, cut off a plastic standoff of the shell to accomodate a USB port on the PCB and really tighten the screws down because the PCB is too thick for a flush closure. Also, there is a chance that you might have to resolder the shoulder button cables because they can break off rather easily while you bend them to shape, happened with mine. It is pretty neat tho and I am planning to buy more kits.

Any plans on making this for the PS1 analog controller? It's probably not as simple to provide an easy to install kit as the rumble elements are soldered onto the original board. But it would be really great as it would give us an analog controller in the original PS1 look. Still can' believe they din't make a PS3 controller in grey.

I hope they do PS2; Tekken 5, Soul Calibur 3, MVC2, and Def Jam NY are great games to play. But the controller length is horrible.

DOES NOT FIT ALL PS1 CONTROLLERS. I bought one of these and an original ps1 controller. The new internals were slightly too big for the controller. It was impossible to close the controller back up. In my efforts to make it fit better, I broke the wiring *which is very easy to do. This must be pretty common, because there is a warning that it is not 8bitdos problem if you hurt the controller. I also bought the NES version- it had no problems... Disappointed- be forewarned.

Finally got mine today, im experienced in handling electronic equipment and boards so im 100% sure mine came damaged. shoulder buttons are not wired as in the video, they were mirrored and to align them correctly must twist the cable to make it fit, the battery was glued too low and also wont let the controller close as the controller has a piece of plastic just in the middle, sitting the battery just a little higher would fix the issue, the board was full of hotglue strands everywhere, it doesn't have anything glued with hot glue to be able to explain why it had so much strands, to top it off the D-Pad and Circle, square, triangle X buttons are non responsive at all in my computer/Android phone, tested it on a friends Mac and same problem appears. it was my first buy at 8bitdo

This would be awesome. Getting a Playstation Classic so I can hack it for new games and controllers. But main thing I want to ask is I want to be able to use the thumbsticks on an classic PlayStation Dual Shock controller. Is there any way to modify this using this kit? Is there anything extra I have to do?
