I think that after 14 studio albums by Pink Floyd, when they're saying 'This is it' I think it's well-deserved for them to get a break and make an end to a band that simply can't function anymore with just the 2 of them.

I have been a Pink Floyd fan for my entire life, and no matter how the final album turns out, I trust on the words of David and Nick that they pay a great tribute to Richard Wright. The absense of Roger Waters is just how it is. Waters, Nick, Richard and David are all incredible musicians, but they also have a life, and life doesn't always turn out as some people or many (we in our case) wanted it to turn out.

That doesn't make it a non-Pink Floyd album in the slightest. I'm confident and happy that The Endless River, which is nicely a continuation of the Division Bell, is to conlude one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) musical chapters in the history of music.

Pink Floyd will always remain ethereal to me, something that is of a different level than anything I have ever heard, and that's something that will remain known for lifetimes.

I almost cried when he said "I suspect this is it.."

Personally, I listen to it before going to sleep every night. There’s just something about it that takes you away from it all and let’s you float off to somewhere else. Brilliantly melodic and hypnotizing.

I don't care what anyone says, this album is pure Floyd in concept and execution. Farewell Brothers,

The way Gilmour's voice broke at 4:46 while he was talking about Wright was heartbreaking.

When i first heard this album i thought it was made just for me. It contains basically all of my favorite motifs from my favorite albums. It's nice to hear praise for Rick too. That guy gave the band their atmosphere and flew under the radar all too often.

I do so appreciate David Gilmour's sentiment when he says "... this is for you".
I have been listening to P.F. since the mid 80s, listening to these gems is to savor every moment on a long and beautiful journey.
P.F. albums have literally help shape my perspective on life. Thank you P.F.

_"Listen to the whole thing"_ sure is a very important advice when listening to The Endless River... I really like the album, actually even better than some of the classic ones.

I've listened to, played and written all sorts of music in my life for years(not famous) but I always return to Floyd because their music is written in such as way as to move me to my core, inspire and sadden me often at the same time. Best band in the world their concerts were a spectacle to behold.

*_Talkin' Hawkin', Surfacing_* and *_Autumn '68_* (Rick's spirit is in that track) are gems.
*R.I.P Rick Wright, the soul of Pink Floyd.*

An era is moving out into the void of our own lives.  These fine gentlemen are going to leave us.  The music of Pink Floyd has been analyzed, debated and critically critiqued.  As a fan I have been blessed to have gotten the meaning or a meaning from their music.  I've read David is an atheist, myself I thank God literally for this music.  David Nick Roger and Rick your music is Louder Than Words, yes, but also beyond words.  Thank you, thank you so very much for you music.  I have been blessed by it.  I wish you all peace!

Pink Floyd is the band that I look up to the most. I own every single one of their albums and played guitar along to their songs for countless hours. Although I no longer play gigs, their music had a huge influence on me.

Yet, this is actually the first time I've heard David Gilmour's spoken voice... What the hell have I been doing all these years...? Hahahaha....

And. . . we can never go home again. What a unit of beautiful talent you were together. Some of the best minds in music. Ever! What an inspiration you have all been to me. I thank you for sharing a part of yourselves with this world so that I could get a glimpse of one of the best writing and performing batch of troubadours this world has ever seen, and may never again. Oh. . . how music was so fresh and new and held the heartbeat of so many within it. Thank you for your contribution to our lives, loves, hearts, minds and souls. You've been placed at the top of it all by us, your fans and your fellow musicians, though we'll never meet nor get to speak to one another, we are all brothers in arms. Bless you dear gentlemen, bless you from my heart.
