Everything in this culinary conversation this man was speaking my language.. I so get him, his story about his family sounds very similar to mine, how international my mother was as a cook. I simply enjoyed Sundays where we would spend all day long cooking. And yes turkey necks, the neck of an animal both poultry and red meats, I too understand that, believe the same. This was more than an educational recipe how to vlog, this was a delightful conversation that I enjoyed watching 👍🏾

Shakshouka is one of my favorite recipes, I make it a few times a month and do sweet peppers & mushrooms in mine. I also got the idea for feta in there from Chef John's version.

My favorite use for Crystal Hot Sauce is as a topping for chicken noodle soup, with a little shredded cheddar cheese.

When I had my bar-mitzvah (in Israel I'm in Newfoundland now) my parents bought three large cans of brine pickles. The day after my mothers BFF was helping clean up when she noticed that her daughter and me were missing. They found us on either side of an open can of pickles. It was half full when we started and almost empty by the time they found us. I would love to see your favorite pickling recipes and not just cucumbers.
