Go back in history and see how MJ was giving best black awards, instead of him being able to compete with white people (I can't say peers unless I'm referring to Prince who is on his league). It's the point Kanye West was trying to make about Beyonce not winning that particular award. You know white people will soon start getting nominated in the so called African awards, like they've already entered rap and R&B, but you'll not see any person that looks like you in a mainstream category. Like it or not, it's not real representation or inclusion, they are baiting us with the barest minimum and we are still falling for it.
