Love this video. Really clear and practical framework for wrapping up an understanding of ‘a problem’ from the strategic down to the tactical.

We have been exposing our students to Complex Adaptive Systems for the last 7 years. It is a critical concept when looking at systems analysis for today's complex environment.

At seven minutes into the video, the Colonel describes the operational art as connecting the tactical to the strategic. So, what is the difference between operational art and activities that are planned (includes the SA) and executed (including the command and control) at the operational level of war?
