Using CDROMs in DOS without a CDROM Drive

I'm currently testing an ITX-Llama, which is a motherboard that supports DOS & Windows 98 games. While it supports CD-ROM drives, I do not have one, so I can't play games that need CD's in DOS. However, there are DOS programs that allow you to mount a folder as CD-ROM drive or mount ISO image files. This is helpful for retro computers dedicated to DOS & Windows 3.x games.

I got my first CD-ROM years before Windows 95. In Fact the CD-ROM came with Windows 3.1 and a Sound Blaster sound card.

I hope someday that someone out there will make a cd image mounting software for MS-DOS or Windows 3.1 with better bin/cue emulation that will play Redbook audio during gameplay and a way to get through copy protection.

Linux and others exist, so you don't need to specify Window$/Mac, just "on a computer" or along that line.

It's a good practice to double-quotes paths on M$-DOS/Window$ no matter what the path contains.
