Invite Users to a Project

BuildBook offers Construction Project Management Tools for the Modern Builder. Residential construction and design professionals can take advantage of the full suite of tools from sales and marketing to project management.

To invite Collaborators, Pro Team Members, and Clients to your project, simply go to your Projects tab and click on the project that you'd like to invite the external users to.

Go to your Project Settings on the far right, or where you see the different avatars here at the top right, and click the plus sign.

Once you scroll down, you'll see a list of people on the project. From here, you can add Pro Team Members, Clients, and Collaborators. Pro Team Members should be invited on the account level, depending on the plan that you're in, by going to your Account Settings, then they can be invited in on a project-by-project basis.

To invite Clients and Collaborators (you can invite as many of these users in as you need) simply click “Add Collaborators” and type in their email address.

You can choose whether this user has Full Access or Limited Access. Full Access users will have access to everything in the project that you do.

A Limited Access user will not have access to financials or anything related to the client. So they will not see the Budget, Selections, or Client tabs, and they also won't have access to the Client Chat.

Once they've accepted your invitation, they'll immediately have access to the project.
