As much as I hate her personality, I do love her basic attack animations, and the way she moves in them. Extra points on those crit autoattacks.

I don't want to sound whiney, but (yes but, because I do) I think her theme is a missed opportunity and I think she does not has her own niche to be played in, while doing things better that others might have deserved instead.

To go into detail:
I would have loved to see a champ like Nidalee or Elise but with more transformations for each element. That this is hard to read is understandable, so I'm fine with this "pick an element" style. What I miss here is that it makes no sense how she does it. What does a blade have to do with the way she gets the element. But okay, still can life with that. But what I really don't get then is why not every ability and detail in her kit is build around that theme. She can control them only once on her Q and that's it. Her ult is interesting, but feels less like she's controlling the elemnts than being a gimmick depending on her location. Once e.g. being pushed into her own base, she will rarely be able to use the freeze or water at all which makes sense, but is a bummer looking at the potential of someone being so sassy and dominant about ruling over the elements as a power. It's lost potential!

But the most upsetting thing in my eyes is, how unoriginal her kit is in the league. It's identity is mostly dashes with one big damage tool which is a fairly bad amount of levers for balance. While being focuses on this one simplistic key 'movement', she's still having a loaded kit that does a lot of things better than others might. I see her taking a place where Talon once was and maybe a bit of Akali. She definitely will be different, but I expected more than just one "throw the weapon" and "jump in between" character. It's cool to see, but I feel like we slowly got enough of those and truly hope for more champs like Jhin or Zilean which are a bit out of role but still deliver on their purpose while not being focuses on trait that we already have in good amounts. I understand that Qiyana as an Assassin needs these tools to work, but I at least put some story around the abilities and not just her using her legs. I want to see more Mundo cleavers or Nunu snowballs and less 'she dashed a short distance' tooltips. Give me some 'charges a roll attack in her hoop' or something with her jumping into her weapon, roll-dashing into an enemy.
