I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for....

This CEO sounds like he's given up and is ready for the bank to collapse. No sense of urgency, fear, or care in his voice. Just waiting for his next job as a consultant or early retirement.

From a business point of view, why would TD buy them now when they can just simply wait until they get taken over by the FDIC and buy them for pennies on the dollar?

TD didn’t received regs approvals and…didn’t want to receive it anymore. Everybody was shorting TD because everybody known it was becoming a bad bad deal.

Some of these comments are funny. First Horizon is in a better position than TD is. TD's regulators could not clear THEIR issues.

He has so much contempt. Maybe just maybe banks should be forced to be on a public ledger so that every single transaction is known and all regulations are clearcut.
