All valid points. In my area the businesses that are buying work by quoting cheap are ruining things. Because they quote so cheaply, they can't do a quality job because they can't afford something as basic as hypo! They end up doing a rubbish job which puts off customers from spending more money on a business that takes pride in their work using the correct methods. I am forever seeing ads on market place offering driveways and patios for £50 each or £90 for both!! Crazy stuff.

Thanx for the info, I’m just about to start up myself lots of researching before I go ahead, there’s loads to think about that you mentioned in the video, I’ve worked with chemicals before so that’s one thing ticked of the list, the only thing I’m struggling with is finding a good pressure washing system and someone to fit it in my van any recommendations anyone, good luck to everyone who has or is starting up 👍

Re. Going in cheap. As you mentioned, you're trying to build a long-term relationship for repeat work, go in cheap, and they'll expect the same price all the while.

thanks for the help you give me. i posted leaflets and bagged a load of jobs and posting on my Facebook page that got me a load more job. i would have to agree word of mouth is the best way to get jobs and been a man of our word i find important to my clients. it helps that i have OCD lol

Awesome video! I wanted to ask about quoting for pressure washing jobs. If I'm asked to provide a quote, I usually tell people it's £4/sqm (in London). However, I'm unsure if I should include the cost of chemicals in that £4/sqm. I typically use SH, which is quite expensive, and sometimes I need a lot for larger patios (I use a 50/50 dilution). What would you recommend?

Done some work but complete noob in comparison. Question is: 3100psi, 10lpm hyundai, would that machine be good enough to use 2 or 3 days a week, 3 or 4 jobs a week. Cleaning drives etc. Do i reaally need to buy the 4000psi 15lpm machine?
