WHO AM I?
Hello friends, my name is Femke! I am a nineteen year old reader from Belgium who really loves to talk about books. My first language is Dutch, but I highly prefer to read English literature. I am a second year university student in Antwerp and study English, theatre, film and literature. My goal for this channel is to create a safe space for all kinds of readers to talk about what we love most! I live in Germany and ordered The Heir of Radclyffe from “world of books eu”. They should ship. It’s out of print so you’ll have to get it secondhand. Also, Yonge is the former spelling of the word young, so you pronounce it the same! I’m sorry English is so tricky, I’ve always been amazed that anyone can master it as a second language! Check Abebooks to see if they ship to Belgium. Or Blackwells? Out of print books can be pricey but sometimes there will be reprints of books in the public domain that someone has decided to print and put on a cover and sell.

Do read The Doctors Wife. It is better than Madame Bovary. Its about a young girl who reads a lot of romance and poetry. Do read Lady Audleys Secret if you havent read it. Braddon wrote so many sensation novels but The Doctors Wife is not one of those. You have a lot of books that sound very good.

Hi you have made some good choices to read. Wilkie collins is a very good author i have not read the book that you mention but if you like mystery the women in white is excellent. David cooperfois not bad for me it was a little to lomg and it went up and down like a roller coaster. Madame Bovari i read in highschool not bad i have to re read it again. Would love to read Jezebel daughter. Ifvyou do read it can you make a video on it. Have fun reading. Never read desperate remedies.
