8:10 that sqrt(x^2) is suppose to be sqrt(-x^2)

I was wondering when you were simplifying at the the end (8:12), you simplified the square root of x^2 to x, but wouldn't it be the absolute value of x? That wouldn't be the same answer then, right?

This video's about 3 years old so I don't know if you still check these comments but I thought I'd give it a try.

How should I go about integrating 1/(1-x^2)? Came here looking for some help and found that both arctanh(x) and arccotanh(x) could be substitutes. Which one is it?

at 2:44 you forgot to multiply everything by 2. (found in the last term; derived from 2x)

Help please integral of (csch (t^1/2 )coth(t^1/2))/t^1/2

The argument and denominator is actually square root of t.

Why does the absolute value of x have to be less than 1 for the derivative of inverse hyperbolic tangent but greater than 1 for the derivative of inverse hyperbolic cotangent?
