I've had this laptop with the Ryzen 7 AMD for about 6 months and for $400-500, it's an amazing deal. Obviously not near as good as my regular rig, but for a fraction of the cost, this thing can handle a lot more than expected. Upgrade the ram a bit and you got a great portable machine.

I just bought one in March of 2023. It is much better overall than the HP I just retired. There are a few things that suck. Not enough ports, screen isn't bright enough, not sure about battery as I keep it plugged in or shut off. That being said.. I love this laptop so far but I have low standards

I searched for reviews of this laptop and yours is the first I came across. I just bought this at Walmart on clearance for $300, brand new. From reading these comments, I guess that is a good price. They were marking them down as I was walking past

I'm not into gaming. I'll be using it for editing non professional pictures, creating documents, spreadsheets, etc. And some crafting software. Do you think the 8GB will be enough for me?

Well after trying the refurb past few days, I might have a lemon. My laptop came with a very tiny dent on front corner. But that was not too bad. However, My laptop had wifi issues --no wifi at all when on battery. And it shuts down with blue screens if I continue to run it on battery. I've read 5 other reviews of this happening, so not sure if this is a power issue than could arise in any of these laptops in the life time of owning this device, or I just have one of the few bad this might be a return for Forget what I stated above...updated drivers fixed everything. I just needed a later Wifi Realtek driver and all is ok now.

Bought one today, not refurbished. $389. The picture online, SAME model, looks like the F11 key DOES have the backlit symbol. I'm hoping they have added the backlit recently. I'll be mad if it doesn't. I'll have to look up how easy/hard it is to replace the keyboard...

I just saw that laptop at a walmart in Naples Florida it is priced at 559. I went to return an MSI gaming laptop due to connection problems and I didn't like the yellowish color of the image and video either, I think glossy screens project better color for image and video editing. I make children's stories and machinimas with social life games like the Sims. I keep looking for the best option at an affordable price, I don't know if THIS HP laptop will work for me
