With China-U.S. tensions on the rise, stabilizing the most important bilateral relationship in the world is crucial. During what has been dubbed "China Week," the U.S. House of Representatives has initiated a series of legislative moves targeting China, including tech restrictions and measures related to military drones. Meanwhile, the 11th Xiangshan Forum has addressed critical issues such as Taiwan, regional security, and the future of global governance. Will competition dominate the next phase, or can cooperation still shape the path forward? Join CGTN's Liu Xin, Professor Wu Xinbo and Rick Waters to better understand these shifting dynamics at this pivotal geopolitical moment. Don't miss out!

China must deal with the US as is. China must not beg the US to be friends.

It takes two to tango. In the U.S. - China relation question, China is willing but the U.S. is not. The U.S. wants to do the dance all by itself.

The US "concern" about PLA buildup is laughable. How often do their military planes fly within meters of their sovergn airspace? How often do they run a carrier group through the straight? It would be nice to have a different American on the pannel. This man is a tool of the US agenda. The comflict he speaks of is facilitated by the US.

Good question, short answer is that the U.S. administration needs to do away with it's fear based foreign policy and flawed hegemonic aspirations, seriously consider the security and economic requirements of the PRC and listen more to the advice of their better informed, more experienced industrial leaders.

Taiwan is a part and province of China China has the sole absolute right to defend and protect and exercise its sovereignty over Taiwan the USA has absolutely no right to interfere in the internal affairs of China and Taiwan

Why the fixation to want to be close to the US? It is smarter for China to be closer to the BRICS+ and Global Majority countries.

where does the saying, "IF IT QUACKS LIKE A DUCK ITS A DUCK" comes from? It's a term that define dont get it confused it is what you eactly see no matter what anyone might say otherwise. The problem imo is the culture, and mindset deeply rooted in the US which is the strongest survive and to get there we have to crush any opposition. You can even argue why is "bullying in schools" such an issue in US and dont forget that these are kids we are still talking about which is what represent the future for any country. Its human issues. behavior issues. problems others will not deal with and for others issues so normalized for so long its just a part of society. Human issues are issues that can be fixed and it's an issue that mostly arise from people that grew up with different type of social structure and different type of perception to your neighbor. Its not a doubt that in DC there's lots of people who grew up seeing their own people different. different classes. weak vs strong, poor vs rich and everything else in between. That same behavior gets projected out into the world so that is why you see what you see the world we are in today.

1) Obey the US
2) Just produce low end goods
3) Continue buying US treasury securities
4) Abandon dream to reunite with Taiwan
5) Continue to use USD
6) Create more homeless
7) Allows the US to buy Chinese valuable assets with printed USD
8) Makes Russia your enemy
9) Forget about SCS
10) Give me all your money

This is a tremendous initiative, and vital for our survival. The first thing is that the United States will have to make the decision to start telling the truth.

A common enemy brings Nations together. It is always wise to recall past historic relationships, like WW2. Honesty and a straight line is a successful path to follow.

We may be different in appearance and beliefs but all of us are human beings on this earth. Why don’t we work together to make this world a better place for all instead of seeing each other as competitors or rivals? It does not really matter who ranks number 1 in the world. Anyway, that is something that is not permanent. A US trade deficit with China is not totally a bad thing because that may translate to cheaper goods for Americans; China also uses part of its surplus to buy US bonds.

so... did Walter's wife enter the covenant of marriage with him with the perspective of remaining committed and faithful or with cheating and affairs, but it's all just a "different perspective"?
