Oscillator Devices MINERVA - MIDI Sample Player

The Oscillator Devices MINERVA – MIDI Sample Player is a miniature, MIDI controlled, stereo sample player. The MINERVA is able to play .WAV and .AIFF files with different sample rates and bit depths. The ability to mix the output with an optional guitar, bass, or synth input signal makes it perfect for the use on a MIDI controlled pedalboard. Of course the MINERVA is analog dry-through. That means the input signal stays analog and isn’t touched by any A/D or D/A conversion.

The samples are saved on a microSD or microSDHC card, easily accessible from the top. The samples can be triggered with PC, selectable CC or Note commands. With the latter it’s possible to play the MINERVA like a synth.

Such an incredible idea! This was exactly what I was looking for in a pedal format when I settled for the RC-5. Just bought my Minerva and looking forward to it!

I've been looking for something like that my whole life.. But I want to have a preset for every song.. Each preset contains several samples (lets say 5)....And I activate sample 1 with always the same button that sends the same CC number... So another Song/Preset is a different sample, activated by the same button... You can't expect me to have 127 buttons on my pedal?.... That's why I still use a Roland SPD SX that I completely disassembled and placed in a small housing. So hopefully there will be a version that can do this one day

Wow, this is great. Exactly what I been looking for. A couple of questions. How much power does it draw? I will want to incorporate it into my pedalboard and want to make sure I have enough power left on my pedalboard power supply.
Other question is how do you configure the sd card? I assume I would need to download firmware? That would have been nice to see you doing it on your video.
