Use cedar wood oil....it's used in microscope lenses for high zoom

Use molten lava for better zoom, its crazy how good it works

Pretty cool tbh, but I think water was better

Medical Lab Grad here. Microscopes use cedar wood oil for this purpose but the oil has to touch the surface you want looked at. The image is warping because the light rays bend when they move from air into the oil. If the oil is touching both the lens and the surface of the object, there's no refraction

Probably mineral cooking oil, since it’s pretty much the “default” oil.

Edit: PEOPLE! THAT WILL DESTROY HIS PHONE ALRIGHT 😭😭😭 WHAT YALL TALKING ABOUT

Light microscopes use immersion oils to see more clearly. Check that out

Cedar wood oil is used because that’s specifically has a very similar refraction index to the lens that microscopes use.

I think he wanted you to use other oil. You could do a video where u test the oils.

Use cedar wood oil.... The same is used in microscopic lens for oil immersion technique

This is either an actual certified tip, or a really really really good Oil Up joke

Ask Diddy for some baby oil, seems clear to me. Plus we know he has plenty.

The thing is that while it isn’t clearer, it looks cooler

Who else thought the 3d printed drown part was a frog

You can use the little magnifying lens that comes in laser pointers. Used to do that with my iphone 4.

I think the oil is soo much better and clearer

try glycerin, you can buy it at the pharmacy aisle, its nontoxic and water soluble so it simply can be wiped with a damp paper towel, and its refractive index (how much it deflects light) is nearly identical to glass so it will mimic how glass behaves and not cause distortion

I suggest you to use the ultrawide lens + water or oil, itll make it more macro. Ive tried it b4 and yea, its much better than wide lens.

Try Microscopic oil or immersion oil. Its cedar oil, its quite clear and probably cheaper than the coconut oil bottle.

You should use an oil that has the same light scattering properties of air, something like Rice Oil might give you better results

You can use cidar wood oil or glycerine for that purpose also because that’s what is used in microscope to get 100x magnification
