My favourite Bruce Dern films: Family Plot, Silent Running, The Driver. (Three films where Bruce Dern actually plays sympathetic characters). Family Plot was his second Hitchcock role, being he had previously done an episode of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour.

I'm sure there's some unspoken tension and issues here and there, EVERY family has them. But to see the 3 of them together, what a great gift.
