Honestly, him abd his costars should bring it back and run it their way- maybe do a next generation type thing with all their kids. Lydia, Sawyer, and Brooke’s twins should be the core group. Guest appearances by Jamie and Logan. Maybe Quinn/Clsu have another kid that could be there too.

I never saw one episode of OTH until eight years after its demise, two months after COVID first hit the masses. That March, I started occupying my time by binge-watching teen dramas, beginning with "Dawson's Creek" and "Gilmore Girls." That old saying "Third time's a charm" was right on target, because OTH totally blew me away! I was literally on the edge of my seat during several episodes. Initially, I was always under the impression that the often-used phrase "edge-of-your-seat" that's used in suspense movie trailers and headlines, was merely exaggeration. But this series got me to the point where I was hopeful that the characters would make certain decisions, particularly the conclusion of the Nathan/Daunte sublot, as if their choices were going to affect my life. I watched a total of six teen dramas during those first eight months of the pandemic, and of course the three following OTH didn't peak my interest -- "Smallville, " "The Secret Life of the American Teenager, " and "Gossip Girl." I know I seem like a prude for the top of that list, but the superhero genre never really did it for me. Perhaps I was so engaged in the high school drama aspect of TV dramas geared to teenagers, that the fact that "Smallville" didn't focus much on Clark Kent in school, is what made my brain say, "That's it, I'm gettin' outta here." In hindsight, I didn't think I'd be interested in any of the six teen dramas, since I was 40 years old when I started binging them. But I guess you're always young at heart.

Favorite teen drama hands-down: "One Tree Hill"
Favorite teen drama theme song: "Beverly Hills, 90210" which I didn't start binging until the day Luke Perry died, as the media coverage of his death, prompted me to see what the fuss was about. While not as good as OTH, I watched every episode twice. FYI, about 20% of the 292 episodes of "90210" were missing on Hulu. So I had no choice but to watch the 60 episodes on those annoying torrent sites with annoying popups. Now that's dedication. R.I.P., Luke Perry.

I'm 30, I grew up with this show. (Same with Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, and Rugrats.) CMM made me feel old when he said some teenagers weren't alive when OTH aired. He's right that we need a reboot of the series. Today's generation needs to learn about Life somehow.
