Mε τεράστια πτώση στη συναλλαγματική ισοτιμία της τουρκικής λίρας έναντι του αμερικανικού δολαρίου, άνοιξαν οι ασιατικές αγορές, προκαλώντας τρόμο στους απανταχού επενδυτές, που σπεύδουν να ξεφορτωθούν το τουρκικό νόμισμα.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, όπως αναφέρουν ελληνικά και ξένα μέσα ενημέρωσης, η τουρκική λίρα ξεκίνησε με πτώση που άγγιξε το 18% και αυτή τη στιγμή, σύμφωνα με την ιστοσελίδα του bloomberg διαπραγματεύεται στα 8,26 από τα 7,22 που ήταν την Παρασκευή, δηλαδή με μία πτώση 15% περίπου.
