Trump actions blunting Canadian travel to U.S.

I work in a restaurant in Nashville and we're already seeing the decrease in Canadian patrons. It's such a shame. They were always great guests and very kind. Even though Nashville is a blue city I still 100% understand not coming here.

It's kinda painful reading all of these comments from both Americans and Canadians talking about all the trips they'll be cancelling to each others countries, while there's so many Canadians and Americans that can't afford such luxuries. I haven't been on vacation outside of California since 2012. Maybe both countries should make more of an effort to figure things out because the middle class has been suffering for decades. I don't care who anybody voted for. Just figure it out please.

As a Canadian living in Spain, I feel the biggest issue is the "51st State" rhetoric - moreso than the tariffs. My Spanish colleagues here have also cancelled scheduled trips to the U.S., and some have decided to visit Canada instead.
Also, you neglected to mention that several Canadians (and others) are being detained at the border, and some even sent to detainment camps with no justification or due process. The U.S. is no longer an inviting or safe country to visit. North Korea opened up tourism late last year, and to be honest, I would feel safer going there this summer.

I heard somewhere that you had a very bad bedbug problem and people had to seek medical attention for the bites the got overnight.
