Mike had to be...and IS...the most intriguing Seahawk this year. Totally new. Totally different. An introduction to a new way to play and (hopefully) win as a Seahawk. As a lifelong...and I mean this as someone who attended the very first home field Seahawk game...fan, I have been excited by several 'new' coaches...Knox, Holmgren, Carroll. But the difference is that all the aforementioned brought proven product and history with them. Mike ... well ... hasn't. Surprisingly, I am not bothered by that. He seems well spoken, thoughtful and decisive. He seems strong willed. He seems to have a grip on players mentality. He seems driven to win. I don't know what more you could ask for in a head coach. I am encouraged by the choices he has made for his primary staff, the selection of Leslie Frasier especially. That indicates to me that Mike is a guy who knows he's a rookie, and needs the experience of a grizzled veteran to guide him through the rapids, so to speak.

I am excited to watch. More so than I have been for many years now...since the prime of LOB. I wish him well.
