Seems you are the only one. 60K+ miles, low noise, smooth ride, no issues.

According to the web sight; Ridge Grapplers aren't rated for snow/ice.

I’ve run a 37” ridge grappler to around 40k mile and sold them with 1/4 tread life. They were fantastic.

Currently running the 38x12.5r17 on my 2020 Jeep rubicon. They’re just not the great imo. The look amazing. But they’re wearing fast and have really soft side walls. I won’t get them again.

I think the best hybrid right now is the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT.

And the ridge grapplers start out pretty quiet. But get much louder with wear. I will say that the 37” ridge grapplers on the same jeep performed amazing on and off road. Maybe differences in sizes 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cooper STT Maxx or Toyo Open Country CT. Both are "commercial" hybrid tires. Both are loud on the road (I dont care some might) both have good traction and both wear like iron.

I’m currently running a 305 ridge grapp and I love them! They’re at 75% and they’ve never been loud, perform great in mud and sand, and balance really well!

How often do you rotate usually?
I think these tires sell good because people want an aggressive looking tire without the noise of a Mudd tire
Ive been running the Atturo trail blade M/T, very cost effective tire.. Rotate every oil change and they last forever.. Mudd tires are loud but I don't care, some people can't stand the noise

LMAO never had any issues in over 300K worth of running Ridge on multiple trucks. You're doing something wrong if your only getting 27K LOL What's the date code on those?

Don’t have any experience with this certain model, but try the Cooper STT pro mud tire, I had the Discoverer ATP tires and they were great.

I didn't like the ridge grapplers either, for similar experiences, besides the lack of wear you mention. Ran them for 52k miles back in 2018-2019 on '17 f350 long bed diesel. I thought they lasted fine, but had horrible traction in mud, rocks, and wet dirt / gravel roads. I pull trailers on rough farm roads and oilfield roads, and I've never had this bad of traction. Went back to Trail grapplers and Toyo MTs and have great experience with them. 40k miles always out of both models, tolerable road behavior, great traction. Thinking of trying the recon grappler next.

I have these tires installed on a lifted Ram 1500, and their performance in wet and snowy conditions is unsatisfactory. This past winter, during a 4-inch snowstorm, the tires struggled to gain traction even in 4WD. Additionally, their wet performance is subpar. At highway speeds, they feel unstable and as though they are moments away from losing tracking. Despite multiple alignments and tire rotations, they have worn inconsistently and exhibit a radial pull.

It's not the tires, You have bad tie rods and bad ball joints, and thats why they are wearing that fast. To wear like that at 20K, it's definitely suspension related. And if you run another set on that truck before you fix the issue you will wear those tires out fast as well.

It must be hit or miss. I've never ran any Nittos tires, but I did run the toyo MT on my 2017 F350 and got about 18k miles... I wasn't happy but always was told they are the best. I think my favorite tire was the cooper SST pro! Those had the overall best results so far for me.

Your right tire shops recommend these but when I had them on my 1500 with aluminum bed the truck was very slippery. I went with bfg now. No complaints

I have Nitto Ridge Grappler 35 inch 12.50 20 inch black rhino wheels on my 2500 4+4 dodge ram cummins.
Live in western Texas ranch so far they are great. Maybe it's the desert heat 🥵.

Ive ran a lot of tires over the years and i keep coming back to the Nitto Ridge Grappler. Ive had Toyo RT and Open Country MT, Nittos mud terrains and the ridge grapplers, bfgs, good year wranglers, you name it ive run it. The Ridge grapplers are phenomenal tires and are what i just out back on my F250 again.

I love my ridge grapplers haven’t had any problems with them. It sounds like you need something more than a hybrid AT tire. These are meant to be a little more aggressive than an AT tire but are quieter and give more mileage on the highway than a mud or off-road tire. Maybe they’re just not suited for your particular application. As far as sound mine are extremely quiet, if your’s are chopping that probably why they’re not quiet.

I wonder if a lot of it is your suspension or your front end or just the overall weight of your truck, because I’ve had two sets of Ridge grappler on my tundra and the first set I replaced it 66, 000 miles and I’m on my second set with almost 66, 000 miles and I think I could hit 70, 000 miles no problem. I do live in Texas so I don’t deal with snowbut I think they’re the best tires I’ve ever owned.

When they say silent, they mean compared to an annoying MT.... they need to include that imo. I didn't like them either. Everyone and their grandma is on a fcking 6" lift and "ridge graps"... just an observation.

I’ve had 2 sets of BF Goodrich KO2’s and got 80k out of each.

15k miles on my Ridge Grapplers and I agree. They’re terrible in wet, snowy and cold conditions. I should’ve got another set of Wildpeaks.
